Enjoy A Sweet Night For A Great Cause Next Thursday!

Next Thursday (April 21st), is the 2016 Girl Scout Cookie Bake-Off Benefit. It's an event that hosts chefs from all over the area to create never-before-seen Girl Scout cookie themed desserts. Chefs will have to use Girl Scout cookies in the desserts, so we should see a good variety; there are 8 varieties according to the website. The purchase of a ticket gets you into this sweet event for a night of LOTS of yummy appetizers and delicious, mystery desserts.  Plus, it benefits a great cause.

Proceeds from next Thursday will go to provide "low income, and at-risk girls, in our communities the opportunity to be Girl Scouts." Being in the Girl Scouts helps to build girls confidence and courage. Plus it offers girls a chance to build friendships within their community.  I loved being a Girl Scout when I was younger! Camping, camaraderie, awesome crafts... it was awesome!
