Forecast models are starting to show a stretch of cooler-than-normal air moving into Michigan during the second half of the week. That could finally make it feel a little more fall-like first thing in the morning.

According to meteorologist Mark Torregrossa from MLive, temperatures are expected to trend cooler as we get closer to September 20.

Normal temperatures around September 20 are already starting to get pretty fall-like across Michigan. Morning lows are typically in the low 50s across southern Michigan, while parts of northern Michigan are usually waking up to temperatures in the 40s.

The upcoming pattern could bring temperatures slightly below those normal levels at times.
September Weather Can Change Quickly in Michigan
You can, however, leave those winter coats packed away, as those won't be freezing temperatures just yet, but it could be one of the first stretches where it actually feels like fall in the morning.
Other forecasts across Michigan are showing the same trend. Cooler air is expected to make occasional pushes into the state, especially heading into the middle and latter part of next week.
