Subway’s 2018 Feed A Friend Food Drive IS TODAY!
- Today is Subway’s 18th annual Feed A Friend: annual food drive for the Lansing/Jackson five county community for families and individuals in need.
- Today, listeners are encouraged to bring in a canned food item or any non-perishable foods to any Lansing/Jackson area Subway.
- As Subway’s gift to you, when you purchase any 6” sub, you will receive a free 6” Sub of equal or lesser value for free.
- Cash donations are also accepted. Subway has made this simple with the Subway Cares Card program. Customers just tell us how much they want to contribute and 100% of their gift will automatically get deposited into a special account designated for the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
- Cash donations will be accepted through Sunday, March 18. However, the free sandwich gift is only available today, March 15.
- Greater Lansing Food Bank distributes many of their canned goods and non-perishable donated items to smaller, local pantries like Holt Community Food Bank and Our Savior Lutheran Food Bank. It goes straight to the local community.
- When you donate to Subway’s Feed A Friend program your support stays right here in the Lansing/Jackson communities.
- And if you can’t make it into a Subway restaurant this Thursday through Sunday, you can always donate throughout the year to Greater Lansing Food Bank or the South Central Michigan Food Bank!
- You can visit www.greaterlansingfoodbank.org for more information on how to donate.
- You can participate in this year’s Subway Feed A Friend food drive today, March 15th, by visiting a local participating Subway restaurants. Just bring in a canned good, a non-perishable item or make a cash donation and receive a free 6-inch sandwich with the purchase of regularly priced 6-inch sub of greater or equal value. Don’t forget, cash donations are always welcome.
- And remember, if you can’t visit a Subway today, cash donations will be accepted through Sunday, March 18.
