As a man who did just what the headline says, I can say, this is a factual study.

If you're a man, and your appearance has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic, you're not alone! For starters, I've changed my hairstyle about three times now since the pandemic started. I jokingly call the styles, my mental breakdowns. I began with blonde highlights, then went with blonde and red. After that ordeal, I finally landed on my current color, red.

In this study, 2,000 American men were surveyed. In the survey, 42% of respondents had said that they had experimented with their looks during the quarantine. Many of which, said they had experienced with their hairstyles, clothing styles and even letting their beards grow out.

Even without the pandemic slowly coming to an end, four out of five men said that they would still continue to get makeovers.

However, don't let those good styles you've seen so far fool you. In the poll, an additional 45% of men said that they had experienced at least one bad haircut during the Pandemic. Another 57% of those, also said that they ended up hating their hairstyles so much, that they ended up buzzing everything off.

I never got as far as that last one, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Even at one point, there was a trend on Tik Tok, where people would just shave their hair off.
