Before the pandemic, I didn't make as much of an effort to try and get to the outdoors and do things. Since the pandemic hit. I've had two camping trips in the past year. Which is a lot more of an attempt to get outdoors than I had before the pandemic.

A new survey conducted, did show that three out of five Americans, have actually made more of an effort to spend more time outdoors.

The study included 2,000 participants. Verv, a health and fitness app, launched the poll.

Most respondents in the poll said that they had been outside for five hours or more per week last year. Out of the whole year, that's 260 hours. It's not much sure, but that is equivalent to 10 days.

Given, most people were stuck indoors last year, 67% of participants had said that going outside was an escape from the people that had lived with.

Most people who had spent lots of doors indoors, or had classified themselves as "indoor people" said that they spent at least 22 minutes a week doing things outdoors.

It did show that men were more likely to be outdoors than it was women. Although, most people who considered themselves the "outdoor type," were between age 25 and 40.
