Petition to Move Halloween to the Weekend

Will you sign it? There is a group out there looking to make sure the holiday is always on a weekend. They have various reasons for wanting to make sure that Halloween is on a weekend, as for years parents and kids have had to trick or treat on week nights and they are looking to make that stop

Some of the reasons for wanting to move the holiday are: 3,800 Halloween-related injuries each year, 82% of parents don’t use high visibility aids on their costume, and 70% of parents don’t accompany their children trick-or-treating. But one of the biggest reasons that might make this idea catch on is that 51% of Millennials say Halloween is their favorite holiday. In addition, kids and parents don't like to cram it into 2 rushed evening weekday hours and instead make the holiday a weekend day.
