If you have driven on I-94 or drive on it everyday you know how crazy it can get especially in the winter, but starting today (December 5th), the Michigan State police–along with other various police agencies are kicking off their ‘Eyes On 94′ campaign.

The campaign will have officers focus on violations by commercial vehicles that are most likely to contribute to a crash, such as; speeding, following too closely, improper passing, distracted driving and improper lane use. The "Eyes On 94" campaign is part of the statewide Toward Zero Deaths traffic safety campaign. In addition, officers from the Indiana State Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol will also be focusing their enforcement on I-94 in their respective states.

Hopefully we don't see anymore accidents or 100+ car pile ups like we saw last year.
