The recount of Michigan’s presidential vote was triggered yesterday and because of that it is forcing Ingham County to hire additional workers to count.

According to Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum, they will need about 75 people, starting Friday 12/2, to assist in counting ballots. They need up to 75 recount workers so that there can be at least 50 people working at a time at the main counting place. The shifts will be from 8 am to 7 pm from December 2nd to December 12th, including weekends, and you be paid $125 per shift.
