Caturday. It's a thing now. Relax. Just let it happen.

And thanks to our friends at Ingham County Animal Control & Shelter, it's a roaring (or should we say purring) success.

The first time they held this Caturday Saturday pet adoption event, they had a line as soon as the doors opened. And on that day, 28 cats and kittens found their way to a new home. Oh and one dog. But we don't want to be petty and CATTY about that (see what we did there?).

So this weekend, it's the RETURN OF CATURDAY.

Adoption fees for adult cats and kittens is $25. Senior cats (over six years) and for cats that have been at the shelter over two months have free adoptions. Think you want two? Second cat adoptions are only $10. All are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have age appropriate vaccination. (ICACS)

And don't worry. Even though they placed 28 of our feline friends last time, there's still plenty to choose from. As a matter of fact, they were so full up on cats, they had to restrict taking in any more of them until they found homes for ones already there.

So you'd be doing a solid by helping to adopt and make room for more kitties.
