So there is another big recall this week, this time its from Mazda who are recalling over 260k vehicles. According to WILX, Mazda is recalling more than 262,000 SUVs and cars in the U.S. to fix a software problem. The software issue can cause inconvenience to you and your car as this issue could cause the engines to stall unexpectedly. Mazda traced the issue to a software error in the engine and valves in fuel-saving cylinder that could cause the stall in the engine. Another problem with this is that drivers won't be warned from the car if their vehicle is going to shutdown as it will just shutdown on you and it could cause something worse.

The recall covers certain Mazda6 midsize sedans and CX-5 SUVs from the 2018 and 2019 model years as well as Mazda3 small cars from 2019. The problem will start to be fixed towards the end of August and you will be alerted by Mazda if your car needs it.
