Parts of West Mount Hope Ave in Lansing will be closed for the better part of two months due to sewer and underground construction. According to WILX, West Mount Hope Avenue between South Washington Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be closed due to sewer work and underground construction work.

This work is expected to last up until July, so if you take Mt Hope Ave you can change your commute or make note of these detours. The first detour is if you are going east on Mt Hope, it will send you onto MLK Blvd. to Holmes Rd, to Cedar Street, and back on to Mt Hope ave. If you are traveling west you will need to start on Cedar St, then go to Holmes and MLK Blvd, before ending up on West Mt Hope Ave.

You can see the full construction here as well as the detours.
