“Name Your Price” at Ingham County Shelter

If you or the family are looking for a pet, this might be the best time to do it. According to WLNS, Ingham County Animal Control is now holding a “Name Your Price” adoption special. So yeah, this means what it says, you pick your furry friend and then you name the price you want to pay for his or her adoption fees. Along with the adoption fee, you must also purchase a dog license for $15.

The dog adoption special is in response to the over-abundance of dogs in the shelter. In July, the Ingham County Animal Shelter had 277 cats brought to the shelter and 113 dogs. You can see all of the animals and find out more on the shelter here.
