Achieving that peace and serenity not through a substance or chemical, but through yoga and art.

Namaste Sober

As a part of this effort, on September 11, from 11 am to 3 pm, local author and yoga instructor Allison Spooner presents Namaste Sober.  This yoga and art event is a fundraiser for the Trini Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing the transformational practice of Ashtanga yoga to individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. (Namaste Sober: A benefit for those in recovery)

An amazing afternoon of relaxation, art, yoga, recovery, and fundraising featuring an art auction, entertainment, open mic for sharing recovery, a giveaway of Made In Lansing Goodies.

The event takes place this Saturday, September 11th from 11am to 3 pm at the Hope Sports Complex on Aurelius in Lansing.
