Michiganders Want Phones & Money For Christmas…But Mostly Money
Forget about digging deep trying to figure out what they want for Christmas. If they live in Michigan, it's phones and money. And not in that order.
Let start with the mean green. It's not just the preferred choice here in Michigan.
According to a Zelle survey, 58% of Americans would prefer to receive money as a gift this holiday season.
Mind you Zelle is also an online money transfer app/site so they might be a little biased and have some stake in telling you folks want money and you should use them to send it.

- 63% of people will use it for either experiences, bills or personal spending
The Zelle poll finds that 58% of Americans would prefer to receive money as a gift this holiday season, which is good considering 40% of people say they plan to give money over the holidays.
As for what they’ll do with the dough, 63% of people will use it for either experiences, bills or personal spending, but how they use it does depend on the generation. It seems Millennials are more likely to use the dough for experiences, while Gen X and Boomers are more likely to use it for personal spending. (Biz Journals)
