It's still not over for the team representing Michigan in the Little League World Series, Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores but their window is narrowing.  Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores is one of 4 teams still left in the United States bracket, which includes a team from New York, Hawaii, and Georgia. The Little League World Series is double elimination and Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores lost in their second game so another loss will eliminate them from the LLWS.

In their last game the Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores trailed against the team representing Iowa four runs to nothing to start the game. They then rallied back and won the game 5-4 on a bases loaded single. Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores will play the team representing Georgia today, and must win today as well as beat the team representing New York and Hawaii. They will also have to most likely beat either New York or Hawaii twice since neither has lost once yet in the US bracket.

The winner of United States bracket, on August 25th, will then play the winning team of the International bracket to win the Little League World Series. Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores run to winning it all isn't that crazy, but they need to first win tonight, games starts at 7:30 PM, against the team from Georgia.
