Madonna’s Tribute To Aretha At The VMAs?!? Awkward…

She just turned 60 last week. She's pop music royalty, icon, legend and all that. But, folks are begging to think that maybe someone else should have done the tribute to the Queen Of Soul instead of the Material Mom. After showing up on stage in what some folks are calling an outfit that was "culturally appropriated", she seemed to ramble on and on about her favorite subject...herself. And then, well there were smatterings of her talking about Aretha...and how she sang "Natural Woman" during an audition for someone a long time ago. And how she didn't get the audition. And...well this just got awkward. Eventually she got to the point...and then awarded Camilia Cabello who thanked Madonna and dedicated the award to her.  Which I'm sure made her happy. After all, it's her world. And we all just Vogue in it. Right?
