We had quite the little snow event on Monday and while most schools were closed, Michigan State was not but will instead be closed on Wednesday. This was just announced in the early afternoon on Tuesday by WLNS and Michigan State officials.

According to Michigan State they are going to be suspending classes beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30. Classes will be suspended at all locations, because of the anticipated deep freeze weather which is expected to see wind chills below -20 degrees.

Online classes may continue during this but check with your teacher and faculty will not penalize students who do not participate during Wednesday if they have an online class. The deep freeze is expected to continue into Thursday so the University will make a decision about classes for Thursday by noon on Wednesday.
