Michigan Police To Look Out For Impaired Drivers
Obviously we are only a few days away from the July 4th Holiday and if you are going to be out on the road remember to never drink and drive. But you really want to make sure you are safe and not impaired at all during the July 4th holiday as Michigan police will be patrolling the roads looking for impaired drivers.
According to WILX, Michigan law enforcement officials say, they will be out and stepping up enforcement in an effort to curb impaired driving during a two-week period that includes independence day. The campaign will start today, July 1st and will run through July 14th. The campaign will include not only state authorities but also Local and county officers to look for impaired drivers.
So basically don't drink and drive, and not to be impaired by drugs and drive. Police say that impaired driving is easily preventable and you can get a ride home, stay over with a friend, or call and Uber or Lyft instead of driving home and risking your life or others.
