Mason’s Spring Fling Is Back With 100 Local Vendors
I am feeling a bit less stressed these days, maybe it is because spring is here and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel with the pandemic. It does help that I'm fully vaccinated. I also love that concerts and fests are making their way back to Michigan in 2021. Last week I wrote about Gizzard Fest coming back after 4 years. Now we have something else to look forward to.
I noticed on Fox47news.com that the Mason Spring Fling is coming back after 4 years as well. The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce's Spring Fling is coming back this Sunday. Get ready for some spring fun at the Ingham County Fairgrounds. It will not be Courthouse Square this year. Michigan Barnwood and Salvage will cohost.
We've struggled through the coronavirus, of course, like everybody. But, we're kind of getting back out there as things are opening up," said Executive Director of Mason Area Chamber of Commerce Sarah Russell. "It's really important for these vendors. I mean there are 140 small businesses that benefit from a good amount of traffic, and we generally have quite a few people come to town.
There will be free parking, and you will need to wear your mask when you walk in. The fairgrounds will be ready with traffic. It will be one direction from the main entrance around the fairway.
Sunday you can enjoy 100 local vendors with food, handmade items and other goods from 9 AM to 3 PM. Let's get out and have some fun this weekend. Sunday looks good with a high around 75. More info available here.
