Organizers of Lansing Foodie Fest have announced that they're scrapping plans for the debut of the festival in 2025, and focusing on kicking off the event in 2026 instead.
Organizers leveled with would-be attendees and vendors in a post on the Foodie Fest Entertainment Facebook page.
Why the Lansing Foodie Fest Was Delayed
"As much as we were excited to bring this event to the Capital City this year, our priority is to make sure you have the best experience possible while also ensuring that our vendors, the heart of this festival, are set up for success," the post reads. "After carefully reviewing the market and timing, we believe that moving the event to 2026 is the best decision for everyone involved."
Ticket Refund Information for 2025 Buyers
Anyone who had already purchased tickets for the now-canceled 2025 event should have already received a refund. If not, organizers say one will be forthcoming soon as a credit to the payment method used at the time of purchase.
Lansing Foodie Fest had been slated for the weekend of September 13-14 at Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing.

Foodie Fest Entertainment, which has coordinated a similar festival in Grand Rapids since 2022, had hoped the inaugural Lansing Foodie Fest would have drawn an estimated 5,000 people over the course of the weekend. Instead, organizers will pivot to planning to launch the festival in 2026.
The festival is not affiliated with the popular Lansing Foodies group on Facebook.
