A recall on deodorant has just hit Michigan, and in hopes of not stinking, you might want to check your bathroom cabinets.

The Food and Drug Administration just flagged over 67,000 cases of Power Stick roll-on deodorant sold at Walmart, Dollar Tree stores, as well as on Amazon.

The Reason for the Current Recall

Why the sudden recall on the deodorant? A manufacturing issue with the product may have caused them to not follow the Good Manufacturing Practice standards, which ensure the safety of ingredients and accuracy. It could potentially cause issues with your skin.

Here Are The Affected Products

There were a couple of specific products that were affected inside of this current recall.

  • Power Stick for Her Powder Fresh (1.8 oz, UPC 815195019313; lots 032026B011, 032226B031, etc.)

  • Power Stick Invisible Protection Spring Fresh (1.8 oz, UPC 815195018194; lots 031726A991, 041226B561, etc.)

  • Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection (1.8 oz, UPC 815195018224; lots 101225D781, 032926B281, etc.)

What You Should Do If You Have The Product

If you recently purchased or used one of the following products, you are being urged to stop using them immediately. The product could contain irregularities, so it is best to proceed with caution with the product. You can toss the product or return it to your place of purchase for a full refund.

Over a thousand different units of the products are affected here in Michigan, spanning multiple store brands. It is best to follow the instructions on the following recall to better protect your own health, and also that of your family.
