Celebrate the Moon Landing at MSU’s MoonFest
The 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon is this week and to celebrate Michigan State is having their MoonFest. Michigan State will also be getting help from Abrams Planetarium (755 Science Road, East Lansing, MI 48824) who will be hosting all of the great shows and activities over the weekend as well as WKAR.
MSU MoonFest will be kicking off on Friday July 19th and having events that night as well as events on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. All of the events at MSU MoonFest are FREE and perfect for people and children of all ages as you will get to learn more about the Moon and the landing itself. Also MoonFest will be even more festive as the MSU Dairy Store will also be there handing out FREE special blue moon ice-cream while supplies last!
Events for Friday run from 6PM - 9PM, Saturday from 10AM - 11PM, and Sunday from 11:30AM - 5PM. For a detail schedule click here!
