Cardi B put the safety of her fans and herself first after she postponed a show after hearing about a security threat.

Hours before the doors opened for the show, the Bronx rapper was preparing to give her fans a major show at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday night (July 30) in Indianapolis, Ind. While gearing up, Cardi and the people working at the Fieldhouse learned of a security threat at the venue. Bardi eventually hit up her social media accounts to inform her fans that the show had to be postponed. According to NBC News, the show has been postponed until September, however, refunds are also available.

"Dear Indiana people I’m so sorry for today .I will like to let you know I was at the venue I was even rehearsing a new move I been excited to do on my show. Unfortunately there was a security threat that is currently under investigation right now. My safety and your safety first," Cardi tweeted.

In an Instagram post, Cardi, who's currently performing around the country, posted a flyer for the show with opener Kevin Gates and a video of her rehearsal at the arena, which was located at Indianapolis' Wholesale District and timestamped at 4:26 p.m. Her caption reiterates what she tweeted, but she also confirms the show has been rescheduled by the promoters.

"I want to thank the promoters we have already rescheduled the show. Im so sorry guys I never dealt with a situation like this before and I’m not taking any chances.I love you guys ❤️❤️," Bardi wrote.
