Monday might be a tough commute especially if you work in Downtown Lansing near the Capitol building. There is going to be quite a big road closure coming Monday and the road work is going to be going on for quite a while.

According to WILX, the Board of Water and Light is closing Capitol Avenue between Saginaw and Lapeer streets starting on Monday.  The road closure and construction will be going on till June 14th so about 4 weeks. The reason for closure and construction is mostly because BWL will be replacing an old steam main that crosses the road near LCC. So just a heads up if you are traveling on Capitol it will be closed to thru traffic but you will still be able to get to businesses in the construction zone.
