Let me start off by saying Michigan weather is crazy. This morning when I arrived at work for Mornings @ Large (5:30ish), it was 64.
Tonight a little after 7 it was the complete reverse. 46 degrees! And it was a day that saw nothing but rain and wind and thunder. At one point I even lamented on the air, I'm not gonna be able to make it to the baseball game tonight if they are even having one.
Wrong! It was the last actual baseball game of the year. The Lemonade League Fall Classic. Lugnuts vs Locos. And yeah the crowd was a little small. But us diehard Michiganders and Lugnuts fans showed up to show support.
The real MVPs of the evening?
I have never loved a heat lamp more. Well that was until I met...
Mr. Firepit. Yeah, we were nice and toasty. Did I mention these?
The Lugnuts are celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year and it was supposed to be a pretty big fancy affair. But Covid. However, we still get the spoils in the form of this week's anniversary bobblehead, Noah Syndergaard. Boom! Collectors item. Thor now pitches for the NY Mets but back in the day he played for the Lugnuts.

I had some fun watching the game and bouncing around taking pictures. I popped by the "Love Lansing" mural on the side of American Fifth Spirits, Capital City Market, and even the state capitol building which looks amazing at night. Take a look at my gallery and enjoy!
Big shout out to the Lugnut who still have more Movies @ The Ballpark (The Nightmare Before Christmas & Halloweentown) next week for Halloween and a flu shot event on the way soon too. We'll keep you posted.
