Anyone Know About This Old Abandoned House on Spring Arbor Road?

For years, every time I headed down Spring Arbor Road (M-60) toward Concord, I saw this old house, on the corner of SA Road and King Road, near Kingspoint Auto.

Old homes and farmhouses are fascinating, as you try to think about what the lifestyle was many, many decades ago.

Who lived there?
Was it the only structure around at the time?
What happened?
Why was it vacated?
Where did the occupants go?
Is it still there after all this time or has it been torn down?
Any answers to the above questions are welcome.

Anyone traveling through southwestern Jackson County MUST have passed by this old house at one time or another. Take a look below at some photos of the house.
