Ele's Place is an amazing organization. They are a healing center for grieving children and teens. They provide this service for kids and teens ages 3 - 18 free of charge. This weekend (with some help from Jackson National Life) they are putting on Ele's Race.

Ele's Race is an annual 5K Run/Walk that directly benefits Ele's Place - Lansing, a healing center for grieving children and teens. It's a fun-filled family event that helps to raise funds and awareness for Ele's Place. All Ele's Place bereavement support services are provided at no cost to families, thanks to our generous community and participants in Ele's Race 5k. (runsignup.com)

I had a chance to speak with Dawn Haddad from Ele's Place and Kirstyn Shiner from Jackson National Life about the event happening THIS SATURDAY.
