Ele's Place is a healing center for grieving children and teens. The services they provide are free. And the care they give to children, teens, and parents at a time of loss is second to none. They help families cope with grief, loss, anxiety, hurt, isolation, fear, and more.

Most of their services are hands on. Face to face. Counselors and support groups. But in these uncertain times, they can't provide those services like they usually do.

But they are still open. And operating. And providing the help that the kids and families in our community need. Counselors are working from home, there are virtual services, they are reaching out on social media and more.

We spoke with Kristine Kuhnert Director~ Capital Region at Ele's Place about what they are doing in the middle of the pandemic. The world and situations have changed. The care they give remains the same. She explains how they are now providing services to those in need.
