Woman Places Pizza Order, Police Arrive To Save Her From Hostage Situation

We've been hearing more about these smart moves by people, particularly women, stuck in serious domestic incidents.

A Florida woman and her children being held hostage by her boyfriend who was armed with a knife, managed to get help by convincing her captor to allow her to use the Pizza Hut app to order a pizza, WTSP-TV reports.

She ordered a classic pie but added a couple toppings; Pepperoni and "911hostagehelp!"

She had the forethought and strength to add in the comments section of the order, "Please help. Get 911 to me."

Twenty minutes later she and her children were safe.

Good on this mom, Pizza Hut's attentive employees and local authorities.
