Top Summer Spot in America is Actually in Michigan!
Well DUH, of course the top summer vacation spot in America is right here in Michigan and its even more beautiful this year.
Trip Advisor just came out with their Top 10 Best Summer Vacation Destinations and Mackinac Island has won. If you have ever been there before you will know why and definitely not question it taking the top spot. Mackinac Island beat out some places like Yellowstone, Martha's Vineyard and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
In their review, Trip Advisor said, "This charming island is a throwback to old-timey seaside leisure with the candy-colored facades of downtown shops." They ofcourse mention the Pink Pony, I gotta go there again, and the fudge. They also mention that the best time to go there, in terms of saving money, is the first week of June. So get in your car and cross the Mighty Mac and be prepared to walk the island and visit the Grand Hotel this summer.
