Excitement was in the air in Downtown Jackson Thursday (Sept. 16th) afternoon, just hours before the iconic mural festival kicked off.

If you've travelled around the U.S. you've probably seen work by Greetings Tour! Now, East Lansing and Jackson are getting their own postcard-style murals.

The event is also accompanied by a scavenger hunt that takes participants to the location of each of the three murals that will be finished by Sunday (Sept. 13th).

Go for a walk, take some pictures, and explore all the art and more that Lansing has to offer from REO Town to Downtown to Old Town.

Eventually, someone from out of town will ask - you should know.
