Winter can be dark and gloomy. You want to know what makes it better? Christmas lights! One of my favorite things about this time of year is all of the lights. They help brighten up the dark days of winter.

Are you looking to get out of the house for a couple hours and enjoy some Christmas lights?

If you haven't yet, check out Potter Park Zoo's Wonderland of Lights Thursday through Sunday now until December 27th. They'll be open for visitors from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

They will be closed Thursday, December 24th and Friday, December 25th.

Please reserve your timeslot online in advance. You do not have to pay when reserving your time, you will pay when you arrive at the admissions gate. Don't forget to bring the confirmation of your reservation time.

Guests are able to purchase tickets at the gate without a reservation time. However, Potter Park Zoo would prefer if you made your reservation online. Due to capacity limits, there is no guarantee that you will be able to enter the zoo at the time of your choosing without a reservation.

Ticket info is below:

  • $9 adults
  • $5 for kids 3-12, seniors (60+), and military
  • Free for kids under 3 years old

Facemasks will be required at all times while in the zoo. If you've forgotten your mask, you may purchase one at admission. Here are some instructions from Potter Park Zoo,

"Signs and paw prints have been placed throughout the zoo to guide guests in proper social distance. Please be patient at viewing areas and if all marked spaces are occupied, wait until a household exits the viewing area to take their place. All indoor animal viewing areas are closed."
