In the latest of an endless barrage of Facebook games, memes, and trends we enter the "Inspire the Class of 2020" photo challenge.

It goes something like this...

"In support of this year’s seniors, share YOUR senior picture no matter how old you are. So here you go, Class Of 2020."

And then you post your senior class photo.

And somehow, this makes it all better for them not graduating with all the bells and whistles, walking across the stage, and hoopla deserving a senior.

Seems innocent enough. And folks have been jumping on board this trend. Many of my friends included.

But, if you listen carefully, you'll hear the subtle backlash of folks that are asking...

JUST HOW IS POSTING YOUR OWN SENIOR PHOTO (from God knows when...way back), SUPPOSED TO MAKE 2020 SENIORS FEEL BETTER?

I'm gonna share a FB post from my buddy Ken here with his permission. That's his daughter and she is one of said Seniors that got hosed by Covid-19 this year.

A lot of folks tend to agree and have mentioned that they were THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING. That this is not helping 2020 seniors and rubbing it in.

Someone compared it to saying, "Hey sorry you didn't get that job. To show you how bad I feel about it, let me show you and tell you about the job I have".

Others think it's harmless fun and a way to say we're truly sorry about you not being able to do what we did and we stand behind you and support you.

Has anyone asked the kids (Class of 2020) what they think?

What do you think? Take our poll below and let us know.
