National Donut Day is Friday! Find Out Who’s Celebrating

Yes tomorrow is Friday and also National Donut Day, and there are a few business across Lansing getting in on the fun. The one business getting in on the fun all around Lansing is of course Groovy Donuts. They will be pairing up with a few other businesses in Lansing to give out some tasty treats on Friday.

First, Groovy Donuts will be teaming up with Peanut Barrel in East Lansing. They will be giving you a spin on sandwiches as you have the option of substituting a traditional bun for a glazed donut bun or apple fritter bun. In addition, custom Long Island Iced Tea donuts will be available as well as some of their other donuts favorites. More on it here. Along with Peanut Barrel, Groovy Donuts will also be teaming with Iorio Gelato at Horrocks Farm Market, with a Groovy Donut Gelato Sandwiches.

There are also several national chains that are getting in on the Donut Day Fun. First Tim Horton's will be introducing the Churro Donut, at participating stores, before it is launch nationally on June 12th. Next Dunkin' will be offering a free classic doughnut of your choice with the purchase of any beverage all day Friday. Finally, Walmart is giving away one free glazed doughnut at all Walmart stores Friday in the bakery section, limit one per person. More here.
