Mid-Michigan McDonalds Employee Arrested for Taking Pics of Cards

If you visited the McDonald's on Holland Road in Buena Vista Township in the last month, be sure to check your credit and debit card statements.

We can add this to the list of "this can happen to anyone." I would be willing to bet that almost all of us have done this exact thing. You are hungry and go to your favorite drive-up window to get yourself something to eat. You drive up to the window and hand the worker your card to pay and think nothing of it.

Sadly, an employee at the McDonalds on Holland Road in Buena Vista Township was taking advantage of our trust. While taking payments from customers, this employee allegedly took pictures of the front and back of the cards she was given. Officials say that she probably did it more than fifty times.

So always be sure to check your statements and keep your card in view whenever possible.
