“Meet the Spartans” Event Happens Monday

If you want to meet the new Michigan State Spartans football team then get ready because your chance is coming up Monday. The 17th annual "Meet the Spartans" will be happening on Monday, Aug. 19 from 5-8 PM in Spartan Stadium.

According to their website, the event will go a lot like last year as offensive players will be available for autographs from 5:30-6:30 PM and defensive players from 6:30-7:30 PM (all times are approximate). You will also be able to get your autograph from Coach Dantonio as he will be available for autographs on the north end of the stadium in the engagement center from 6:30-7:30 PM

Due to the limited time, you will only be able to get 1 autograph from each player. Also Sparty will be there for the kids to meet and there will be some concessions to buy too. In addition, parking is free (Ramps 5 and 7; Lots 79, 62, 63, 39 and 83), with the lots opening at 3 PM The stadium gates (B, C, J, K) open at 5 PM and admission is free.
