Too Early For Christmas And Silver Bells? Not If You’re A Local Vendor
Are we talking Christmas and Silver Bells In The City ALREADY?!?
Isn't it a little too early for this?
Don't freak out on me. This isn't an effort to kill off your summer. You still have about a month or so left to go before we wrap that up.
However folks are already thinking fall. I've heard way too many conversations about PSLs (pumpkin spice lattes), Halloween costumes, and decorations are already in stores.
I saw this at Costco last weekend.
We're JUST NOW halfway through August people. Come on.
Why are we talking Silver Bells In The City so early then?
Last year's event was very different. Because we couldn't all be together, it was Sliver Bells The Home Edition and it was on TV and streaming.
This year, we're back in person. Folks are excited. And plans are being put together to make up for last year. RIGHT. NOW.
First, let's talk about the Electric Light Parade and it's return on Friday, November 19th. The application deadline to be a part of that is September 17th.
Next, we've got info for people who might want to be a part of the Vendor Village.
Head to Sliver Bells In The City online. The application is here.
Be involved in the whimsy of Silver Bells in the City (silverbellsinthecity.org) on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 5-9 p.m. by selling your holiday goods at the Silver Bells Village. A celebration of lights, arts and holiday cheer, the Silver Bells Village will be the perfect place for Silver Bells in the City guests (more than 60,000) to begin their holiday shopping and to purchase refreshments.
The Silver Bells Village will be located on the 100 East block of Allegan St. between S. Washington Square and Grand Ave. in downtown Lansing. Space is limited as there are only 20 booths available. All applications will be reviewed and chosen via an approval process by members of the Silver Bells Coordinating Committee. All applications must be postmarked by Friday, September 30, 2021.
