Lansing-Area Road Closures & Construction This Week

There are two road construction projects going on this week in Lansing and Delhi Township that you may want to avoid for traffic reasons.

First this is in Lansing, as starting on Tuesday, the Lansing Board of Water & Light will reduce traffic to one lane going north and southbound on S. Pennsylvania Ave. between E. Cavanaugh Rd. and E. Mt. Hope Rd. Crews will be there to replace poles but this construction will only impact you in the morning and early afternoon as all lanes for traffic will be open between 5pm-8pm. The Lansing BWL work will end on Friday at close of business, so if you travel this area in the morning or early afternoon be ready for some back up. More on it here, from WLNS.

Next in Delhi Township, parts of Eifert Road will be closed due to storm sewer construction. Portions of Eifert Road between Harper Road and Nichols Road will be closed during the construction which is expected to take 4 weeks. But just know that the portion of Eifert Road in the construction zone will be closed to through traffic during this time but if you live there or go to the Ironwood Links Golf Course you will be able to access it.  More on it here, from WLNS.
