Job Alert: US Census Is Starting to Hire

If you are looking for a job or another job, cause you can work this with another job, then the US Census is starting to hire for the big 2020 count. According to WILX, the job fair will be happening on Saturday October 5th from 10 AM - 2 PM at Capital Area United way in Lansing.

Now there are a few things that you must know before you head there or start the application process. First, some easy things like you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Social Security number and valid email address as well as you must be a U.S citizen. After that, you must complete an application and answer assessment questions and pass a Census-performed background check. Once you do all of this, you have to complete training, which you can do at home too.

If you pass all of this or know that you will then the US Census are looking for you as this 2020 count will be bigger than the last one obviously. They also ask that you are flexible and if you have a job you may be able to do both but the Census are looking for you to make their job the priority. In addition, not all Census jobs require access to a car or driver's license but having these can only help you more. And finally you must not engage in any partisan political activity while on duty.
