With the return of warm weather, it means it’s a perfect time to get outside and throw the grill on, and cook up some mean-tasting food. But sometimes the nice weather lead you to want to go out and give yourself a little break and enjoy some food made by some great local vendors from around Southwest Michigan.

We have some amazing barbecue places throughout the area and many of them will be taking part in the Taste of the Creek event happening at the festival market square in downtown Battle Creek. Located at 25 McCamley St. S., this will be the third annual Taste of the Creek, as the event page details what customers and eventgoers can expect:

The festival will feature a diverse selection of food vendors offering everything from savory street eats to sweet treats. In addition to the delicious food options, adult beverages will also be available for those looking to unwind and enjoy the lively atmosphere. With its family-friendly environment and exciting lineup of activities including Kiddie Land, the Taste Of The Creek food festival will be another memorable event for all attendees. So mark your calendars and get ready to indulge in a day of food, fun, and festivities at this much-anticipated community event.

Another event happening the same day is the 17th Annual Summer Eurofest car show at the US 131 Motorsports Park, so this would be a dangerous 1-2 punch...badass cars and amazing locally made food. That sounds like an awesome way to spend the weekend to me.
