Michigan Pride 2025: Events, Resources & Support for LGBTQ+

It is officially June, and that means it is Pride Month here in Lansing and across the United States.

While the month is shrouded in hate for those who don't understand it, it's not for them. It's for you! The purpose of the month is to help ensure that those who aren't in a safe space or think they're alone know they're not alone.

There are safe spaces and those who are and will be accepting of you, even if they're not your best friend, family, or community.

We here at 97.5 NOW FM strive to be one of those safe spaces for you. We are here to support you and let you be who you want to be. At the end of the day, life is too short to worry about what anyone else is going to think of you.

Don't let society try to tell you that you're less than or not good enough because of who you are.

I know words of affirmation mean nothing, but you truly are not alone. Never let anyone make you feel less than or not as important because of who you are.
