It’s a Felony if Caught Being a Porch Pirate in Michigan, Some Safety Tips
It's a terrible feeling being a victim of a crime even if it's a little one. Many of us have been a victim of having something stolen from us and it's really a slap in the face when we have something taken from as close as our front porch.
I live in a security building so it has not happened to me lately. Some days when I walk into my building I see a dozen or so packages sitting there and I hope a lucky thief does not find a way to get in because they would make a haul. There are security cameras there, so that helps a bit.
It's a Felony

Helpful Tips That Can Help
It also helps to stay alert when home and keep in touch with your neighbors so you can keep an eye out for each other. If you get a lot of packages a security camera is not a bad idea.
