How’s That Bracket? Upsets, Updates, and Large is STILL IN IT!

Yes! The Spartans won! They move on to face Syracuse on Sunday afternoon! But if you're waking up on Saturday to your bracket being more busted than perhaps it already was, the name on the tip of everyone's tongue is UMBC. As in University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Their mascot could be your family dog. They are The Retrievers! And last night they shocked the system! Now, March Madness is known for it's shocking upsets. There were plenty on Thursday! But Friday night. In a late game most folks thought was a no brainer. And plenty of folks had Virginia going pretty far in the tournament. For the first time in the history of never ever the #16 seed upset the #1 seed. And The Retrievers are moving on in the tournament. And the acronym UMBC has been translated to U Must Be Cinderella!

And I don't know about you, but it did hit my bracket a little hard. No lie, that entire division/section of the tournament hasn't been nice to Uncle Large! But, I'm still in it! As of this morning at about 11-11:30, I have 21 points in our 2018 Million Dollar Bracket Challenge and a fair amount of teams that have survived! I rooting so hard for Cincy to make it right now!
