Genius Hall of Fame – Woman Sues Lawyers for Not Explaining Divorce Meant Her Marriage Is Over

A woman in Britain sued her team of lawyers for not explaining thoroughly the result of a divorce proceeding.  That is, that one's marriage has ended.

That's right, claiming her lawyers should have advised her to seek a judicial separation since she's a staunch Roman Catholic, she went after her lawyers.  The lawsuit was tossed out, as was an appeal.

Now, this story may sound too ridiculous to be true, but -- well -- let's just say I know someone who once demanded a divorce, only to years later attempt to "undo" the divorce by having it reclassified as an annulment.  That's like playing a sport, losing, and then later asking for the score to be changed because you didn't understand follow the rules.

This woman is the first to be inducted into Josh Strickland's Genius Hall of Fame in 2014.
