GameStop To Close Hundreds of Stores

Another major retailer is closing a lot of their doors and it GameStop is the next one to close up hundreds of their stores. According to WILX, GameStop announced earlier in the week that it plans on closing 180 to 200 stores. They are going to close the stores not only in the US but might close some stores outside of the US. There are more than 5700 stores in 14 countries, so some of the closings may not impact US stores.

There are no updates on where the stores they are closing are located but they are going to close down the most under-performing stores. GameStop also mentioned how there might be more store closures so some changes are coming to this retailer like most retailers now a days.
