If you are getting ready to cook anything in the kitchen, you may want to do a quick check, as another recall is coming to us here in the state of Michigan, this time affecting your freezer.

The recall goes back to spinach that is being recalled by Sno Pac Foods, which has pulled two of its products, linked to a Listeria risk. The Del Mar 35-pound Organic Frozen Spinach (the bulk cases) and Sno-Pac Organic Frozen Cut Spinach sold in 10-ounce bags.

The retail bags to look out for have a specific lot code and best by date on them.

  • SPM1.190.5 (7/9/27)
  • SPC1.160.5 (6/9/27)
  • SPC2.160.5 (6/9/27)
  • SPM1.097.5 (4/7/27)

This recall has affected stores nationwide, especially here in the state of Michigan. It's a major concern, considering that Listeria isn't just your average run-of-the-mill bug. It could be severe, especially for those who are pregnant, seniors, or anyone with a weakened immune system.

If you've gotten the spinach, you should pitch it or take it back to the place of purchase for a full recall.

There is also a public health alert for the HelloFresh brand of ready-made meals, which include spinach from the affected supply:

  • Cheesy Pulled Pork Pepper Pasta (10.1 oz)
  •  Unstuffed Peppers with Ground Turkey (10 oz)

You can check for establishment numbers, which follow:

  • Est. 47718
  • Est. 2937

The lot codes are as followed:

  • 49107
  • 48840
  • 50069
  • 50073
  • 50698

If you have anything in your fridge or freezer, you should take a look at it and determine whether the product should be tossed out, or returned for a full refund.

A bulk shipment had tested positive for Listeria, and that same lot as used to repackage many of the 10-ounce Sno-Pac bags.
