Things are always changing in the Greater Lansing area. Here's a new change taking place very soon on West Saginaw in Lansing.

Do you remember Reno's West? Who doesn't? Reno's West on West Saginaw Highway was open for about 30 years before they closed in August.

That was such a fun place. I did many live broadcasts from Reno's West over the past several years. They always had great food and great drink specials. Overall, it was a happening place quite some time ago.

According to the Lansing State Journal, by the end of the year, the old Reno's West will become OneNorth Kitchen & Bar, a sports themed restaurant.

The building's location at 5001 W. Saginaw Highway, makes it the ideal location for OneNorth Kitchen & Bar's second location. Their first location is in Jackson, which opened in 2018.

The new owner describes the restaurant as a casual sports themed restaurant that features a scratch kitchen. Some of the menu items include burgers, fish and chips, salmon, along with craft beer and other drinks. (LSJ)

OneNorth will place an emphasis on food and it will have fewer big screens than Reno's West. OneNorth will still be an eatery that welcomes sports fans.

I'm happy to know that OneNorth will be a sports themed restaurant with great food. It will be a nice location for a new restaurant and to be able to watch your favorite sports teams on the big screens will be a plus factor.
