Update: East Lansing Police Department Says Missing Woman Found
The East Lansing Police Department is seeking volunteers to divide into groups to help find Shirley Baughan.

According to WILX, 76-year-old Shirley Baughan left Independence Village (2530 Marfitt Rd.) around 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18th.
As far as physical attributes go, WILX says she is white, of average built and is approximately 5-foot, 6 inches tall.
When she was last seen she was wearing blue jeans and a shirt that was black and grey with butterflies and was also carrying a winter coat with her along with a multi-colored purse.
Shirley does also have anxiety so if you see her, she may be frightened.
How You Can Help
Resource Specialist Williams from the East Lansing Police Department said they are meeting at 1924 Coolidge Rd. in East Lansing at the Shaarey Zedek Congregation at 1 p.m. where WILX reports police will be assigning volunteers to locations to aid in the search.

UPDATE 1 - May 18th at 3:18 P.M. - WILX and ELPD Resource Specialist Williams confirm Shirley Baughan has been found and is alive.
