There is a dog food recall happening and it has grown over the last week and involves about 2 dozen different kinds of food. According to WLNS, Hill's Pet Nutrition is expanding its recall of select canned dog food products because of elevated levels of vitamin D. The company had recalled only select canned dog food after getting complaints, but now are expanding it to make sure there aren't any other problems.

The company is also recalling the dog food because a dog having too much Vitamin D can hurtful or even deadly.  The FDA has said that high levels of vitamin D will show symptoms such as vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, excessive drooling and weight loss.

You can see all of the brands that are recalled here, as the list has expanded since last week. Also if you have any of the recalled dog food brands, get rid of them and don't continue to feed your dog.
