PHOTOS & VIDEO: Wild Cougar Discovered in Mackinac County

I think most of us in Michigan have been pretty sure there are cougars - mountain lions - in our state. There have been sightings here & there and even one confirmed one in the lower peninsula.

The pictures below are taken from a 2015 video shot by hunters who discovered a deer carcass, most likely a cougar kill. They went back and set up their Trailcam; going through the footage afterward, they found out that they were right. The pix and video show the cougar chowin' down on the deer and some other great shots.

The video was verified by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
